The vessels of Aquaship.nl are rented out under the "Hiswa general terms and conditions for renting and renting out recreational vessels" through the mediation of Aquanaut Yachtcharter on behalf of the vessel owner Aquaship.nl in Nieuw-Lekkerland.
On departure, we will provide you with a full tank of diesel and a gas bottle. Consumption is at the expense of the charterer.
Departure and return
The departure time is on Friday at 3:00 pm, and the return time is on Friday at 9.00 am at the latest. In case of a late return, the owner has the right to charge an amount of € 15.00 for each fifteen-minute delay. If you wish to collect the vessel after 6.00 pm, you must notify us in advance.
It is also possible to charter a vessel for a weekend or midweek outside the high season and public holidays (Easter, Ascension Day, and Pentecost).
The vessel is provided clean, and we would appreciate receiving it back from you clean and tidy. If you prefer us to do the cleaning for you, please let us know before you depart. The price for the final cleaning is € 80.00.
The Aquila is fully equipped. There is always a complete inventory list on board, and we will send it to you in advance. You only need to bring your own duvets, sheets, towels, and tea towels. It is possible to reserve duvets and sheets in advance at the cost of € 15.00 per person.
When entering into the rental agreement, we recommend that the charterer take out cancellation insurance with an insurance company for the amount of the rental price.
If the vessel breaks down
The charterer must strictly follow the instructions in the manual in the event of breakdowns or damage. The owner does not accept any liability or obligation to pay compensation for expenses incurred by the charterer due to a malfunction of the vessel. If compensation is justified, a maximum refund based on the time lost as a result of the malfunction will apply, whereby malfunctions lasting less than 5 hours after the report to us are not compensated.
Malfunctions of radio/CD player, TV, 2nd toilet, refrigerator, microwave oven or other appliances, navigation instruments, lighting, hinges and locks, windshield wipers, bow, and stern thruster are not considered to lead to the inability to use the vessel and will not entitle the charterer to any compensation.
